Flakebridge Estate is a private corporate retreat venue in Cumbria, offered on an exlusive-use basis to a single group at a time.  Set within the unspoilt landscape of the Eden Valley on the northern edge of the Lake District, the estate provides twenty-two en-suite bedrooms, dedicated meeting spaces and full catering facilities for groups of eight to forty-four guests.

Leadership Retreats and Strategy Sessions

Senior leadership groups travel to Flakebridge for the privacy, the views and the absence of distraction.  Boardroom-style meetings can be held in the Dining Room for up to twelve, with larger sessions in the Hide for up to forty-four.  The Glass Room provides a light-filled setting for smaller meetings and break-out work, while the Drawing Room and Billiard Room support informal conversation, off-the-record discussion and evening hospitality.

Away Days and Team Offsites

For wider team offsites, the estate combines structured meeting time with full use of the grounds and outdoor space.  Country sports days, team challenges, foraging walks, cycling routes and orienteering can all be coordinated through local partners.  Evening dining in the Hide, followed by drinks in the private upstairs bar, allows teams to spend extended time together in a single private environment.

Product Launches and Press Trips

The Hide accommodates up to forty-four guests for private dining or sixty for buffet-style events, with full AV, conference set-up and bar facilities.  The landscape and architecture of the estate provide a setting that lends itself well to brand-led launches, press trups and editorial photography.  The Glass Room and the courtyards offer secondary spaces for displays, breakouts and informal media time.

Board Meetings and Off-Sites for Smaller Groups

For smaller, more confidential meetings of eight to twelve, the Dining Room and Drawing Room provide a discreet, boardroom-style environment with views across the fells.  The full estate is still taken on an exclusive-use basis, ensuring complete privacy throughout the stay.

Client Entertainment and Corporate Hospitality

City firms, financial institutions and consultancies use the estate for client retreats, hospitality stays and curated events that go beyond the format of a restaurant or sporting box.  Activities can include falconry, clay pigeon shooting, wine blending, private dining and wellness programming such as yoga, sauna and cold plunge, and sound baths.

Corporate Celebrations and Milestone Events
